My name is Andrea and I am easily distracted...

Hello everyone, my name is Andrea. I blog over at The Art of Staying Up All Night and it is a huge pleasure to help Rhianne while she's in Poland.

After about 2 minutes of thinking about this post, I came to
the conclusion that reading has always been my biggest and most constant distraction. I'm the sort of kid who learnt to read earlier than usual and was constantly holding a book of some sort. What can I say, I just love the printed word. When I was a kid, on the first day back at school, we used to be asked how many books we'd read over the summer. I always had to lie because nobody would believe I read so much.

This post is dedicated to one of the books that I've read the most; my first grade reading book.

This book used to be my mother's, and by the time I started school it was still being used. My year was actually the last to work with this book, so I consider myself lucky. Both the stories and the illustrations are amazing and have influenced me greatly over the years, so I thought I'd share them with you.
