LC-A woes...

Out of the 6 films that I developed this week - 2 were taken with my LC-A and unfortunately only half of one roll and just 2 photos from the other roll worked . After doing a bit of research (and help from friends, thanks Angie!) I'm really hoping that it's the batteries that arethe problem and I've ordered some Silver Oxide ones for my next roll.

I really hope it is that as this camera was really starting to grow on me and I'm happy with the photos that did work out...  These were taken at the Lomo Meet Up in Manchester.

I decided to add the last photo for all the ones that didn't work out :( I hate it when something goes wrong when taking photos. I do love that clock photo though and I'm so glad that one came out well.

Have a great weekend!!

  1. grrrr, what a shame but you did get some very lovely ones. I like the clock one too - and the footprints surrounding your feet!

  2. Ooh, the clock! Very nice.

How unfortunate that the rest didn't work out! :( Hope you sort things out.

  3. I have the instant back with my LC-A+, and left the little lens converter thing inside the camera for about four rolls of film before I realised what was wrong, nothing came out on any of them... don't worry, it's just what happens with film cameras. As the LC-A and + are so small maybe pop another spare camera in your bag for your next roll, just in case x

    1. I always have more than one camera with me :) I would love to try the instant back but its quite a procedure to put it on the refurbed LC-A's apparently.

  4. Mate I know how you feel - I havent had a decent roll back from either of my Diana's in ages. Gutted. All my Manchester ones I got back are super under exposed even though I had 800 film and set to cloudy and when I took the first few it was sunny!!!

  6. If it helps, the fact that some of your photos didn't work actually makes me feel better? One of my last diana rolls was totally blank... no idea how :( But it makes me feel better than it's not just me it happens to!

  7. Hope you have better lick next time, have similar problems with my LCA+ sometimes. Out of the last 5 rolls I developed I have maybe 15 or so I really like, and a few of them were lucky accidents. Guess there is a huge learning curve with these if you're used to digital :p
