More black and white film love...

{the smoke from the chimney in this picture just kills me...happy sigh}

{Populating my photos sucess! You like the man in the hat yes?}

I'm quite taken with the gritty quality of these photos... After trying the black and white film with the La Sardina and my refurbished LC-A, I was very very excited about using this film with my Superheadz Yellow Peace. I'm not really sure why I haven't used it in it before...

After much thought, I've decided that this film is amazing. No matter what camera I've used it in, its produced lovely results. I still adore it in my Diana Mini but I couldn't be happier with the results in other cameras too.

Location: Leeds and Liverpool Canal

Rhianne said...: Hey Susan, I get mine processed at a Max Speilmann shop near to where I work, you can get them scanned to disc for £3/£4 there in 20 minutes and you can get a 10% card as well, which has helped with the cost too. Worth a try if you have one near you I'd say definitely.

I remember taking a shot of a friend in b/w about 10 years ago lighting another friend's cigarette. It took me about 5 years to notice that the lighter flame was actually lit in the photo and I got so excited x; 9 February 2012 at 20:48
Dawn said...: I may or may not have stared at that first photo for awhile, because I was so taken with it. Black and white usually looks so stark, a little brash and uninviting ... but the brick abode managed to look cozy in that photo. (Perhaps because of the smoke?) ;)
