Paris in film: Lomo X-Pro Part II
In my last post about this film, I said that I didn't like it - and considering that I've been looking at these photos since September when we delevoped them, I can say that is still true. However I find myself in the same position with these photos as I was before... I love the composition and the content, but that green tint... ick.
I know I could Photoshop them and I might try on a few, but it seems silly to do that when I chose to use a cross-processed slide film, you expect colour shifts, I just didn't expect to not like it lol.

These photos are my favourite from the film I used in my Yashica Samurai.
You can see the entire roll here.
p.s. I still have some Paris photos to share, are you bored yet? I took so many...

I don't understand why you don't like them. I really like the grren shify and normally I don't like green that much. But I think it adds a really nice quality as thought they are from a different era, the 50s or something.
ReplyDeleteThese tones really suit Paris.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it matters if we're bored yet or not, because you're going to show them to us anyway, aren't you? :) ...and we're going to like it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeletethese pictures are great. you and my sis-in-law have the love for taking pictures (lomography) in common.
ReplyDelete(found you via sandy a la mode...)
I love these photos Rhianne... I'm a bit partial to Lomo x-pro 200 film (as you know).
ReplyDeleteP.S. I still have a massive amount of NYC photos to share on my blog too... go to show how many photos we all take on holiday!
I think they are fun photos. I especially love how dramatic the sky looks with xpro! :)
ReplyDeletecompletely crazy colours you got there! That skyline with Eiffel is incredible!
ReplyDeleteGreen tint gives a vintage look that seems like images from a magazine in the 60s. I like.
ReplyDeleterihanne these photographs are amazing, i love the colours the film produced
ReplyDeleteI just bought a pack yesterday! I'm always excited to try new film :)
ReplyDeleteFor the green tints, I like it! Especially with the blue skies...
Love that one pic with the Eiffel Tower - it almost looks like a mirage to me! And I really like the colouring - it's really bright and vivid. P.S. awesome new layout, I love this setup too :)
ReplyDeletei will never be bored of film photos, so continue posting away! you know i am no fan of lomography xpro as well but i adore image 3 and 6, they are unbelievable! there's this unworldly quality to the eiffel tower in no 6, it looks like it was sketched in!
