London...

After posting these photos from London, I started to feel more and more nostalgic for our first little home together! Here are some of my favourite pictures from our time in London - I still can't believe it was four years ago!

And despite living there for a year we still managed to always get lost :)

Macaroons!!

On the way back from London I got stuck on a suspended train with only a box of Laduree macaroons (I wasn't allowed to eat) and my camera to amuse me... its lucky macaroons are so pretty!

Yummy yummy yummy!

The flavours I got were from left to right: Chocolate, Salted Caramel (especially for me), Coffee (especially for him), Red Fruits, Vanilla, Raspberry, Lemon and Orange Blossom. We've only eaten half of them so far but they really are delicious!

What a weekend...

This weekend was lovely and weird at the same time, leaving me slightly confused and disorientated:

• Lovely because I was in London, one of my favourite places ever.
• Weird because I was really very happy to leave.
• Lovely because I got to catch up with some old friends...
• Weird because I felt so different from the last time I saw them - was it me or them?
• Lovely because I got to wander around Oxford Street, Harrods and Covent Garden :)
• Weird because I hardly took any photos and I missed my holga!
• Lovely because I saw one of my old housemates
• Weird that she was guiding me around London despite the fact I lived there for a year (weird and annoying... I should probably add)
• Lovely because I got some macaroons
• and lovely because I took them all the way home to share with Boyfriend who was eagerly awaiting my return... (and the macaroons after I talked about them so much!)
• and even more lovely because he made me go for a walk along the canal with him despite the fact I was complaining about being tired... I'm so glad he did now!

Luckily lovely won out in the end (mainly because of Boyfriend) but the weirdness still lingers - causing me to question things I was pretty sure on before I left.... argh!

London

I'll admit it - I miss London and I love going to visit... I also love coming back home though. Here are a few fake polaroids from the weekend, we didn't take many photos as we were rushing around a bit - we didn't even get a chance to get some Laduree macaroons and I printed out a map and everything :)

We had a picnic on the grass, wondered around Hyde Park and saw Bruce Springsteen - it was absolutely amazing!
