Excitement

I think one of my most frequent emotions has to be excitement and enthusiasm. I'm easily excited and have tendencies towards giddiness when I'm over excited!

At the moment I'm excited about the next 5 days - I've got loads happening, I can't wait.

Tonight - Gig
Thursday - shopping and Metallica!
Friday - another gig, possibly more shopping :)
Sat - Go home (sunny Norfolk), see the dog (oh and parents), decorate wedding party, attend wedding party.
Sun - Go to the beach (yeay) see grandparents, go out for dinner, see Sister's new flat...
Mon - Back to Yorkshire, no work.

I'm hugely excited about the wedding party - its my best friend from high schools party and even though she got married abroad and I couldn't go (which I may eventually forgive her for) I really want it to go well for her. I'm doing all the wedding decorations in pink and silver and I'm very excited. Balloons and ribbon all the way!

I'm hoping to borrow my sister's boyfriends fancy (expensive) camera and take lots of pictures, so hopefully next week I will have something to share.

Oscar Dresses!

I love the awards season- mainly just to look at the dresses. This is a fairly recent development encouraged by my housemate from uni (a fashion, media and promotion student combining her two interests: writing and fashion and sharing it with me it seeems) and it has truly blossomed this year.

Since Sunday I have been reading every article I can about the best and worst dresses and I thought I would share my fave with you!

My complete favourite is Evan Rachel Wood! I loved her dark emerald dress that she had for the SAG awards and this dress is equally as stunning. I also love how she celebrates her pale skin and rebels slightly with black nail varnish.

The biggest disappointment for me was Amy Adams - my favourite actress at the moment if I had to name one. I really liked her dress from the SAG awards and her dress last year was lovely, so I had high expectations...

Fortunately for her she was still amazing in Junebug and Enchanted, so I forgive her :)

Good news!

I'm in quite a good mood - it could be a mixture of only working three days this week or it could be from stumbling onto Debbry531's flickr page.

I think I'm in love with these dogs!! I love dogs as it is, but these photos are stunning. How could you not fall in love with them? :)

On a side note - as theraputic as thinking through my emotions is (who knew I was so guilt ridden) it can lead to me feeling a bit depressed too, so I'm going to try and explore some of my positive feelings more!

My First Blog!

Hello! Welcome to my first blog...

I've been thinking about starting this for weeks and as I sit here to write something, my mind goes blank! The horror...

I think too much and sometimes I like what I'm thinking and want to share it with someone, anyone. So here is my chance to explore my emotions and share my thoughts - without targeting a single person (who probably wouldn't be that interested) and maybe discover more about why I think and feel like I do...

Thats the aim anyway - we'll have to wait and see where this goes!

Hello! My name is Rhianne...

Welcome to For the easily distracted... a blog for me and for you!

I started For the easily distracted... in February 2009 as a way to distract myself from my repetitive and slightly dull day job (though I do enjoy it, don't get me wrong... and it pays the bills...) and somehow since then this blog has become my creative haven, my own little world for inspiration and most importantly - a place to share my photos!

In June 2009 - I treated myself to a Holga 135bc and since then my life has become camera obsessed and now I have quite the camera collection, including a number of Polaroids, Deedee - my Diana Mini, a yashica autofocus (which is Thomas's film camera of choice) and my new favourite - a yashica samurai! I am currently putting together a post about my cameras - which hopefully should be on here soon!

I live in Leeds, England with my rather handsome boyfriend Thomas - we finally have a garden - but no pets (boo). We are both from Norfolk, so we visit our families there alot and most of my favourite photos are from there...

I love to blog, the beach, making lists, using tiles as coasters, all of my cameras, instant photography, feet photos and roast vegtables. My favourite colour is mustard yellow. I really want a puppy and
