I want to go back to Edinburgh!

Remember way back in March when we went to Edinburgh?

It seems like such a long time ago now... but these beautiful holgas sent from the lovely Wendy to the equally lovely Marisa (honestly, I adore them both) has made me want to go straight back there... its really not that far from Leeds...

I love Edinburgh, holgas, the photoswap and all my photoswappers, hurray!!

Most of these photos were taken at the Botanic Gardens and I love how the colours turned out in the sunshine!

Everytime I look through these photos I wish we were back there!

These photos were taken on the Saturday whilst we explored Old Town and met the lovely Wendy for a hot chocolate (sorry I haven't got any photos of that... we were too busy chatting) I can honestly say Wendy is as adorable and friendly in person as she is on her blog though -

Edinburgh Diana Mini's #1 (and feet love around the world 4!)

The more I look at these photos, the more I wish I was back there.

These photos were taken on our lovely walk along the river from the modern art museum to the botanic gardens - it was beautiful and so interesting seeing a different side of Edinburgh.

I must admit that I am loving the square format with the mini, even if it was a pain getting it developed and I looove the colours that the Diana produces - much dreamier than the Holga I think...

More Edinburgh instax minis!

Sunday was probably my favourite day in Edinburgh - we went round art galleries, walked the Water of Leith Walkway and ended up at the Royal Botanic Gardens where the sun was shining!

I think my camera loved the sunshine as much as I did!

Most of the time we spent in Edinburgh we were walking.
There was just so much to see!

The highlights for me were Greyfriar's Bobby and that rather amazing piece of carrot cake and hot chocolate, yum!

p.s. I have no idea what the yellow stain is on the second photo... it developed along with the image - I love instant photography!

I'm so glad that Anna is continuing her Much Love Monday project as I knew as soon as I saw this I was going to use it this week!

If I was a train conductor I would use a heart stamp too and I genuinely love getting the train - the views on the way to Edinburgh along the coast line were beautiful.

A few things...

...I've realised we are bad at after our weekend away...

~taking pictures of ourselves in places...

I took a few of our feet - but we have none of each other or any together in Edinburgh - neither of us like having our photos taken, so its just not happening ~

~over packing - I always overpack socks and film but I completely forgot a first aid kit (ouch and oops!) ~

~ remembering to buy postcards - each day I planned to buy some... and each day I totally forgot ~

However we are good at...

~ finding amazing places to eat - and eating the most delicious food ~

~not getting lost too many times ~

~ remembering to text our Mum's when we arrive safely ~

~ taking pictures of things/buildings/street names...~

~ enjoying our time alone together ~
