Purple rain...

You can't see the rain really in these photos, but it was raining at the time honest...
Also, there are worse songs to be reminded of when looking at photos right?

This week has kind of sucked so far... work had been kicking my butt, I've finally got my site looking how I want to, but the RSS feed is suffering because of it but I don't want to change it all now that it finally looks right, I just want to somehow make the RSS feed ignore the coding, or replace it somehow? Is that even possible?! I have no idea.

 is pretty much how I'm feeling right now and I think the purple stormy skies from the tungsten film  reflect that pretty well.

Valley Gardens, Harrogate

Valley Gardens is a English Heritage Grade II Listedpark and garden area in Harrogate and absolutely beautiful.

We were very lucky in that we had a lovely day weather wise and the park looked glorious in the sunshine! I particularly loved the shadows that the pavillion area created along the floor.

The park also had a play area with miniture golf, pitch and putt and even frisbee golf, which we had a go at... we were both equally poor but it was so fun!

Bunting!!

I guess that now is as good a time as any to confess a love for bunting, it makes everywhere look much more colourful and its also pretty fun to take photos of.

These were taken the week of the Queen's Jubilee and Knaresborough was the perfect place to see so much bunting, it's such a quiant place already that the bunting looked like it had always been there.

Forgotten Photos: Bempton Cliffs

Again this is a place that I have posted about before: Bempton Cliffs. However, I failed to mention before was that I had more than one camera with me (of course...) so here are the photos from Bempton Cliffs taken with my Yashica Autofocus.

Let's kick the August Break off with something exciting...

Crossprocessed film! I've always wanted to try it - but I was honestly a bit scared, it seemed so advanced for me but then I used some Lomography slide film in my borrowed LC-A in Manchester and I was sold - the colours, the contrasts, the extremes... I love it!

{note- I have no idea who they are, I just thought it looked good}

I'm in love with the colours and I couldn't be more happier with these photos taken at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park last month. I've also really enjoyed taking my holga out more this year too. We've missed each other.
