Shades of turquoise...

Remember my confession of love for this Agfa film yesterday... well here are more reasons why I really love that turquoise shift and also, another confession of love for my Superheadz camera... I knew it could produce beautiful vignetting, but this film has taken that aspect and really made it special.

Compared to yesterday's photos, for some reason these doubles only seem to show hints of Davide's exposure and my photos of Wells and Harry (who I'm seeing Sunday, woo) are really prominent but I love the subtleness of layering this produces.

One of my favourite things about film is that there are so many options before you even take photos, its easy to stick with camera/film combinations but these photos remind me that I need to try as many different films as I can.

Have a great weekend!

We're actually going home and to Wells again this weekend, so these photos are pretty fitting.

Norfolk Instagrams

{The first photo is my favourite tree and the black and white photos are of Norfolk in the Fifties, how fun!}

My favourite thing about Instagram is that in sharing places that you've been hundreds of times with people, you start to see it with fresh eyes, seeing things again in a new way and appreciating the things that you love about somewhere even more.

One day I'm going to go home and make the time to go to Norwich and photograph it properly I think, rather than just fleeting visits, it really is a fine city.

Some photos from the Hen Party weekend...

I think I can deem my lickle sister's hen party weekend a sucess! We rented a house at the coast for the weekend, had an afternoon tea party followed by hen party games, food and drinks. I had so much fun and I'm pretty sure everyone else did too.

Can you believe that I took hardly any photos though - I took 4 cameras down with me and they all stayed in my bag - in fact half of these photos were borrowed from another hen (thanks Ellen!). I particularly love the photo of me, my sister and our Nanna at the bottom in our tissue dresses, so much fun!

p.s. The mug is a thank you gift from my bride sister :) she knows me well!

We love the beach video #2

It's no secret here that Wells-Next-The-Sea is my favourite beach, I must have taken most of my cameras there at some point - and last weekend was the turn of my new little Lomokino. After last years little scare, I'm so so glad that it worked and I finally got some footage of Harry!

Family trips to the beach - even in the rain (which you can't really see) are my favourite!!

Today marks the beginning of my Mum's second birthday weekend celebration and I can't wait to make more videos (and memories) of my family this weekend, hurray!!

p.s. you should watch until the end, just for Harry :)

The weekend in phone photos...

This weekend was the first of two with my family and I loved every minute of it... and of course I took lots of photos of Harry too :)  I'm counting down the days until this weekend now!

p.s. This weekend was my little blogs 3rd birthday - time flies when you're having fun.
Thank you so much to everyone who's supported me in the last three years, you have no idea how much it means to me :) x

Forgotten Photos: Norfolk Broads

I did actually do one post of our little day on a boat on the Norfolk Broads, but I took so many more photos that it seems wrong not share more on here.

Also I'm liking the forgotten photos theme for this week...
(you see what I did there... turning lack of inspiration on its head!)

It's photos of fun, sunny (ish, it still England) days like this that are going to help me kick January's sorry butt and bring in February on a plus note, sometimes you just need something positive to focus on and this day was one of my all time favourites!

My first Olympus Trip roll...

I got my Olympus Trip way back in the Summer and I even used it once when we went home to Norfolk for a little bit and I haven't shared any of the photos on here, how crazy is that.

I seriously love this camera - it looks delightful for one and the results are so rich and warm, which I'm doubly impressed with considering that I used an expired film.

I can't wait to go home to Norfolk at Christmas now, I really can't.

Have a great weekend!

Oh my...

Sugar & Hatter is the combined talents of two young(ish!) ladies from Norfolk - one of which I have the pleasure of knowing. Both have been making vintage inspired accessories since they were able to pick up a needle and thread and together they have opened a new shop of lovely hair accessories.

I was incredibly fortunate to get to wear a lovely felt creation by one of the ladies for one of my best friends wedding (over a year ago now?!) and I'm definitely buying something else for an up and coming wedding this month too.

As well as having a lovely shop, Sugar and Hatter also have a great new blog so check them out!

Wells Next The Sea Fuji's...

As well as playing with my new superheadz camera in Wells, I got my fuji instax mini back from my parents (they took photos in New York but I left them in Norfolk, oops) HURRAY! I missed my little camera!

Even though it wasn't the sunniest day, I always think the fuji catches the mood of everything so well.

I'm not sure if the dot on the last one is a bird or dust from the scanner, haha, so I left it - just for fun.

We took Harry for a walk in Norfolk...

I love going home to my parents, I love being in a house and lickle village I'm so familiar with, with the people I love and getting the chance to walk Harry...

I held the lead and Thomas took the photos with a new (to us) digital camera - a Sony Cybershot H7 - I'm not completely sold on it but Thomas likes it. In fact you can see I'm carrying my little yellow superheadz with me in one of the pics and I had my diana mini too lol. I heart film.

I love Thomas's photos though and I'm pretty sure he doesn't mind me sharing :)

(I took this one... Both Thomas and Harry were reluctant, haha)

Please ignore the poop bag... responsible dog walking and all that...

Happy Weekend!!
